Terms of use

Last updated 1 September 2026

Draft. These terms are being finalised with legal advice before launch. They are published now so the substance is visible, not to bind anyone yet.

Proof of Seller is a verification and anti-impersonation service for people who sell through Discord. It checks identities and publishes a canonical record. It does not process payments, hold funds, or vouch for how any seller trades.

What “ID checked” means

An ID checked badge means we confirmed who controls a Discord account and server and that their proofs were current when last checked. It is an identity check, not an endorsement, a guarantee, or a promise about a seller’s conduct. Never pay anyone because a badge or a link told you they were safe — including a link to this site. Start every check yourself, from this domain.

Your rights as a buyer

Nothing here removes a statutory right. If you pay by card you keep your chargeback rights with your bank, and for credit purchases over £100 you keep your Section 75 rights — using them never forfeits anything with us. Any term that tried to penalise you for exercising a consumer right would be void, and we do not have one.

For sellers

A record is listed once a server is bound and its proofs verify. Listing is earned by proof, not by paying. We may flag or remove a record for a breach of these terms; removal shows a status (“no longer listed”) and a date, never a public verdict about you, and you have a right of reply and an appeal judged against the version of the criteria in force when the action was taken.

Versioning

These terms are versioned. When they change, the version in force at the time of any decision is the one that applies to it.

Complaints

To raise a complaint about the service or a moderation decision, contact us through the channel on the report page. We operate a complaints route and respond within a stated window.
